Beacon Hill Apartments

Beacon Hill is a gorgeous neighborhood of Boston that is home to approximately 10,000 local and traveling residents. Condos and apartments are the primary type of home, and the majority are considered luxury or high class. Beacon Hill is known to be one of the mose desirable areas to live in the United States and is often equated to nice areas of New York City and San Francisco. It originally received it's name because it was located on top of the highest hill near the center of Boston, thus being a "beacon".

Apartment Rates & Pricing

Due to the desirablility of living in Beacon Hill, prices are very high. It's not unlikely to hear of a single bedroom apartment renting for as high as $3,000/month, or a condo selling for $5 Million. More reasonable rates in the area can be found to be as low as $1,600 for a one bedroom, or $2,800 for a two bedroom. This region of Boston is known for red brick buildings, small local shops and it's relative closeness to Boston Public Parks and the North End.

Laundry facilities may be found on or off the apartment premasis, and parking is extremely rare to find. It's not unusual to find parking spaces selling for $500 additional (on top of rent) oer month. Public parking is available, but most spots are metered or require a resident permit which are not always easy to get.

Transportation Convenience

Beacon Hill is located almost as central to the city of Boston as possibly can be. It's immediately east of Back Bay area, west of Financial District, and south east of Cambridge across the Charles River. It's nearest "T" stop is Park Street which is the most centralized subway stop in the city.

Finding a Taxicab is incredibly easy from Beacon Hill due to it being immediately nearby the subway, city hall plaza, and Faneuil Hall Marketplace.
