Harvard Avenue ApartmentsHarvard Avenue is a popular street that runs through Roxbury, Brookline, and Boston (specifically Allston and Brighton). Harvard ave has varies levels of quality areas, some nice and some not as nice. In general, the more desirable areas are considered to be in Brookline where property values are higher and buildings are well maintained. Coolidge Corner is a specific area of Harvard Avenue where rents peak due to the popularity of the restaurants, accessibility to the subway train, and the overall beauty and comfort of the area in the fall and spring. One Harvard Avenue you'll find the Coolidge Corner Theater, JP Licks, Bic City Bar, Anna's Taqueria, Zaftigs, Paris Creperie and many other nice establishments for food and entertainment. Colleges & Universities Harvard Avenue runs very close to a few colleges, but doesn't actually go through any campuses. Boston University is perhaps the closest being only minutes down Commonwealth Ave. Subway Access If you choose to live on Harvard Ave, there are three different subway trains you can choose. The green line offers each line, the B "Boston College" line, the D "Riverside" line and the C "Cleveland Circle" line. These three trains will take you to one of three locations, and you'll want to choose the appropriate one depending on where your new apartment will be located. Subway access to Harvard Ave apartments is very easy, and beneficial to commuters. It's always suggested to commute using the train wrather than driving to avoid headaches and expensive parking costs and/or parking tickets. Apartment Rentals Pricing along this popular street varies due to the large diversity in towns it covers but pricing generally runs from $850-1300 for studios and $1,100-1600 for 1 bedrooms.
