Malden, MA Apartments
Malden is a popular suburb of Boston, primarily due to the fact that it has a large number of developed apartment communinities and complexes which make commuting easy for city workers and students. Malden is nestled between Medford and slightly north of Everett, and is located north of Boston on the orange line. In 2000, the government census estimated that Malden had approximately 55,000 residents which is average for a suburban town in the eastern Massachusetts area. Malden was settled very early in the nations history, in 1640, and was named after Maldon, England.
Subway Access
Malden is accessible via subway train, MBTA bus, and the commuter rail, all of which are excellent economic substitutes for driving into the city for work. Subway trips cost $2 each, or a monthly pass can be purchased for $60.

Apartments in Malden rent for significantly less than apartments in the areas immediately surrounding metro Boston. One bedrooms can be found for as low as $1100 and two bedrooms for as low as $1400-1500.
