Allston Apartments

Allston and Brighton are the two towns that ultimately make Boston a "college city". Allston is immediately next to Brighton and Brookline and has probably the highest density of apartments in the Boston area. Harvard and Comm Ave is the center of the fun with bars, clubs, shops, tattoo parlors, liquor stores, restaurants, and costume stores all clustered within a 4 block radius.The reason it's so great among college students in particular is it's a good centralized location for Boston College, Boston University, Emerson College, and Harvard University students.

Next, the Green Line Subway runs directly through the center of Allston. With Fenway Park only a few stops away, catching a game is as easy as grabbing a slice of pizza, and for you poor students, bleacher seats run as low as $25-30 a piece.

Rent's in Allston generally run from $1000-1600 for a 1BR, and $1400-2000 for a 2BR.
