Wentworth Institute of Technology (WIT) Apartments

Wentworth is primarily known for engineering, and while it's a smaller school in the area it offers nearly 2,500 on campus dormatories and suites. Bedrooms range from 2-14 room suites, and are kept under watch through-out the school year by Resident Assistants (RA's) whom are given special priviledges such as discounted rent for watching over (and insuring safety) of the students living in thier Residences.

Living Off-Campus

Wentworth is located immediately next to Northeastern University, Simmons College, Mass Art, and many other colleges. It's in the heart of college central in Boston, and therefore has numerous on and off campus housing options. Nearby is Symphony, Roxbury, Mission Hill and Brookline, all of which vary in price, convenience, and transportation options to campus.

Things to ask when looking for a place:

1. What will utilities cost?
2. How far is the subway or bus from the apartment?
3. Who else lives in the building? Students? Older people that prefer quiet after 9pm?
4. Is parking included? (if you have a car)
5. What deposits are required up front? First? Last? Save Deposit?
